Hello, I’m Caitlin! I’m a mom, UX designer/developer, and healthy lifestyle and cooking enthusiast. I have a story that inspired me to have interest in nutrition and wellbeing. This passion led me to inspire others to live a healthy lifestyle through sharing my healthy recipes!

In 2016, I went through a tough year and realized how much I had let go of myself – physically and emotionally. I was obese, tired all the time, struggling with social and generalized anxiety, depression; I was just all around very unhappy. I was in denial about my weight issue. I felt out of control with my eating habits and failed each attempt to lose the weight. I failed so many times. I didn’t think it was worth the effort anymore but I needed to do something to heal my very hurt self-esteem, lack of energy, and near crippling anxiety. 

I was obese, tired all the time, struggling with social and generalized anxiety, depression; I was just all around very unhappy.

Through some family connections, I decided to make a move in attempting to regain my health through a medical weight loss program. Soon after beginning my journey, I started to feel some energy to move again. Alongside the program’s diet regimen, I started running. At first running was difficult, as anyone could imagine or has experienced, but through perseverance I began to love it! The endorphins released following a running workout did wonders to help me with my energy and anxiety. It gave me something to feel proud about.

That year, I was able to shed almost 55 pounds. I can’t emphasize enough how dramatic of a change my weight loss and my running regimen provided me. It is the reason I learned how to cook, and is the reason I love it today! I continue to run and moderate my eating habits that I learned during my transition to a healthier lifestyle. I follow a mostly plant-based diet, which in conjunction with exercise, has allowed me to maintain most of that weight loss.

Inspiring others to live a healthy lifestyle keeps me motivated to better live that lifestyle each day, which is why I love ❤️️ to share my healthy recipes and nutrition knowledge with you.
